— Seeing What Others Can't —
From the road cut to the roofline — True North guides every decision on your ranch, your land, and your home. In-house. On-site. Personal.

About True North
True North Land Development was founded on a single belief: that every piece of land has a vision waiting to be unlocked. Most people walk a property and see acreage. We walk it and see possibility — where the road should cut, where the entry should frame the view, where the home should sit to capture the morning light.
Our approach is entirely in-house and deeply personal. From the first site visit to the final design, you work directly with our founder — someone who will spend hours on your land, understanding your goals, your lifestyle, and your vision for what this property can become.
And we do it all with the healthiest approach in every facet — from the roads we cut and the materials we use, to the non-toxic paints and finishes inside your home. Because the children who run barefoot on your land deserve pure soil beneath their feet, and the family who lives inside your walls deserves clean air to breathe.
Our Philosophy
"The children who run on your land shouldn't be running barefoot in chemicals. They should be stepping on pure soil. On nature. On connection."
Everything we do at True North is guided by a single standard: the healthiest approach in all facets. This isn't a marketing claim. It is a commitment that runs from the first road cut to the last coat of paint on your walls.
We believe that land should be stewarded, not just developed. That a home should nourish the people inside it. That the materials we choose today become the environment your children and grandchildren live within for generations. So we choose carefully — every time, on every project.
From the way we grade roads to preserve natural drainage, to the non-toxic paints and low-VOC finishes we specify for your home — health is not an add-on. It is the foundation of how True North builds.
01
We steward the land the way nature intended. The roads we cut, the materials we specify, the drainage we design — all chosen to protect the soil, the watershed, and the ecosystem your family will live within.
02
From the foundation to the finish coat, we build with materials that are safe for your family. Non-toxic paints, low-VOC finishes, natural insulation options — because the air inside your home should be as clean as the air outside it.
03
We design properties so that life happens outside. Children running barefoot on pure soil. Bare feet on grass that hasn't seen a chemical. A front porch oriented to the sunset. A garden where your family grows food. This is what land is for.
"We don't just build on land. We build with it — honoring what it is, protecting what it holds, and leaving it better for the next generation that will call it home."
— Jordan Lorance Gonzales, Founder
What We Do
We walk your property with you — reading the terrain, the views, the drainage, and the natural flow of the land. We identify what makes your acreage unique and build a master vision that honors it, preserving what nature gave you while making it fully livable.
The approach to your home sets the tone for everything. We design roads that work with the land — not against it — using materials that minimize chemical runoff and preserve the natural drainage patterns your soil depends on.
From well placement and water storage to ponds, cisterns, and irrigation systems — we plan your water infrastructure to protect the purity of your land's water table and serve your family for generations to come.
We coordinate utility routing, generator placement, solar integration, and all electrical infrastructure so your property is powered efficiently, unobtrusively, and with minimal disruption to the land around it.
Proper sewer and septic design protects the soil your children play on and the water your animals drink from. We engineer systems that meet code, safeguard your land, and are sized for your long-term plans.
Our in-house designer creates a home built around how you want to live — with non-toxic paints, low-VOC finishes, and healthy materials throughout. Because the air inside your home should be as clean as the land outside it.

Development Design
Every True North project starts with a master site plan — a detailed layout that maps every structure, every road, every utility line, and every outdoor space before construction begins. This is how we protect your investment and ensure the final build matches the vision you came to us with.
This yurt camp development plan shows the level of detail Jordan brings to every project — tree lines, parking, fire pit areas, bath house placement, check-in office, and pedestrian pathways all mapped and considered before a single stake is driven.

Art & Sculpture
Wolf Creek Iron is the ironwork arm of the True North family of companies. From the moment you pull through your entry gate to the staircase you climb every morning, Wolf Creek Iron puts hand-forged craftsmanship into every corner of your build.
Every piece is fabricated and installed in-house — no subcontractors, no shortcuts. Whether it's a grand entry gate that announces your property, a spiral staircase that becomes the soul of your home, ornamental structures that define your outdoor spaces, or a one-of-a-kind art piece that brings your vision to life in steel — Wolf Creek Iron builds it.
"Iron doesn't lie. Every weld, every curve, every piece of scrollwork tells you exactly who made it and how much they cared."
— Jordan Lorance Gonzales

How It Works

The Site Visit
Every project begins with us on your land. Not in an office reviewing satellite images — on the ground, walking the property with you, understanding the terrain, the views, the challenges, and the opportunities.
We spend multiple hours on-site, asking questions and listening. What do you want to see from your front porch? How do you want to arrive home? What does a perfect morning on this land look like to you?

The Infrastructure Plan
With a clear picture of your vision, we design the infrastructure that makes it all possible. Road alignment, entry design, water systems, electrical routing, and septic placement — all engineered to work together and respect the natural character of your land.
We coordinate every trade and every permit, so you have a single point of contact and a clear plan from day one.

The Home Design
Our in-house designer works directly with you — not through layers of project managers — to design a home that belongs on your specific piece of ground. Oriented to capture the views you love, scaled to the landscape, and built around how you actually want to live.
We go through as many iterations as it takes. This is your forever home on your forever land. We don't rush the process.
My job is to pull up to your property and see what others can't. To understand the land, understand your dream, and bring it to life — in a way that's healthy for your family, true to the land, and built to last for generations.
— Founder, True North Land Development
